Job Overview:

Duties:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and recipe creation
- Oversee kitchen staff and ensure quality and consistency in food production
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor food costs and work towards budget targets
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on culinary techniques and best practices
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Proficiency in food handling, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Strong knowledge of fine dining standards and practices
- Ability to supervise and lead a team effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience in shift management and restaurant operations
