Senior Director of Consulting and Outreach Services Overview
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee and manage Melmark New England’s outreach consultation services. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission to serve children, adolescents, and adults with diverse needs through evidence-based practices. Senior Director of Consulting and Outreach Services Requirements
- Licensed Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts or possess a certificate as a School Psychologist II preferred
- Doctorate Level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D) certification preferred
- Minimum of seven to ten years of experience in clinical service delivery and supervision
- Minimum of three to five years of experience in program management, supervising and training staff
- Strong background in education, Applied Behavior Analysis, and special needs services
Senior Director of Consulting and Outreach Services Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of consultation services to identified school districts, agencies, collaboratives, and individuals
- Operate within the established clinical services framework of Melmark New England
- Support staffing needs in the school program as defined by budgetary assignments
- Attend monthly administration meetings and participate in the Research Committee
- Assist the Chief Clinical Officer in peer review of clinical and educational services
- Attend and present at local and national conferences
- Provide in-service training to direct care staff as needed
- Perform annual evaluations for Educational and Behavioral Consultants
- Directly observe consultants' work for peer feedback and document supervision quarterly
- Review consultants' written materials to assess quality and provide feedback
- Recruit, hire, and supervise additional consultants as necessary
- Develop policies and procedures for the consultation services department
- Ensure revenue from consulting contracts covers payroll and associated costs
- Deliver Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services and ensure evidence-based consultation delivery
- Conduct annual satisfaction surveys and implement needed improvements
- Oversee all consultation services staff in the development and delivery of functional behavioral assessments, educational assessments, data collection systems, behavior support plans, program evaluations, staff and parent trainings, educational curricula, and IEPs/ISPs
- Ensure confidentiality and proper consent procedures are followed
- Provide accurate billing records and ensure timely review of progress
