Post-Bac Research Assistant Job Description:
This position will support the experimental progress associated with two ongoing research projects in our lab. This will re quire experience in tissue culture work, in the techniques of qrt-PCR an d Western blot, as well as in animal handling and experimentation. The individual in this position will be expected to keep accurate lab notes, perform experimental troubleshooting, discuss ongoing work and research trajectory both in group lab meetings and in one-on-one meetings with t he PI, and also keep abreast of the literature in the areas related to e ach project. This individual will work under a senior research scientis t andwill be working in collaborationwith another post-doctoral associ ate as well as two laboratory technicians.
Work requires an Associate's degree in botany, biology, zoology, psychology or other science related scientific field.
