This position will be responsible for handling clerical tasks for the organization. Including handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting visitors.
- Receiving & staging incoming packages
- Handling incoming calls and other communications.
- Updating documents and word processing.
- Organizing travel by booking accommodations and reservations.
- Scanning, copying, filing as needed.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings/appointments and conference calls.
- Overseeing office supplies inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintaining office equipment as needed.
- Assisting Human Resources & Accounting as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic, with an ability to work with very little supervision.
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
- First-rate organizational skills to include: ability to prioritize, attention to detail and following tasks through to completion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and with standard office equipment.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- H.S. graduate or equivalent
- Experience as an office assistant or in related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
