Key Results Area:
The Client Services Coordinator is responsible for handling and managing client’s needs and projects in a professional and timely manner. Performs complex and confidential administrative related functions to ensure department operations flow smoothly. Provides daily information to Client Services Managers, Department Managers and Director, RCM on specific situations that may arise with clients. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule after 90 days.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
¨ Provides a single point of contact for the billing process, acts as a conduit between the Client Services Manager and the Director of Operations.
¨ Generates various confidential departmental reports and performs administrative functions such as maintaining complex spreadsheets as assigned by the Client Services Manager, utilizing various RCM program reports, Excel, and other reporting. Will make recommendations for process enhancements.
¨ Handles client communication and daily correspondence from clients in conjunction with the Client Services Manager to work independently and to troubleshoot and document issues. Ensures all matters are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
¨ Assist Clients Services Manager in maintaining open communication with Team Leads and A/R Represenatives, client issues and distribution of monthly A/R reports.
¨ Maintains client specific files regarding Medicare, Medicaid, and other Third-Party payers.
¨ Additional duties will entail tasks that follow the billing process to include, overseeing and some data entry of medical charges and demographics, applying payments and adjustments that are not part of the normal payment posting process.
¨ Assist in credentialing with payers for the client.
¨ Performs other related duties and special projects as required.
¨ Complies with all aspects of the Compliance Program. Maintains strict confidentiality of all patient information, as well as abides by all Hawthorn Standards of Conduct and HIPAA regulations.
¨ Travel may be required to accompany Client Services Manager on client visits as needed in the future.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
