Special Education Inclusion Specialists at Sturgis Charter Public School monitor, track and support growth and learning for students on Individualized Educational Plans as they take mainstream courses in our International Baccalaureate for All curriculum.

Responsibilities:
- Establish rapport with students receiving inclusion support services
- Review the IEPs for all students receiving inclusion support services; inclusion should be well versed in student accommodations and content specific goals as applicable
- Establish a working relationship with content area teachers that includes regular communication and meetings (before class, during lunch, during teacher free blocks)
- Communicate at least once daily with both content area teachers and special education teachers regarding the academic progress of students
- Ensure that the accommodations and content delivery outlined in the IEP are being provided as indicated
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and integrity
- Support Study Skills teachers in the Study Skills class by helping individual students
- Other responsibilities related to the position as assigned by the Coordinator of Special Education
