Responsibilities:
As a real estate sales person, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Client Representation: This involves understanding their clients' needs, wants, and budget. Whether it's a buyer or seller, a real estate agent works as their advocate to achieve their goals in the transaction This includes tasks like:
- Consult with clients to determine their needs and financial capabilities.
- Educate clients about the real estate market, legalities, and the buying or selling process.
- Market Expertise: Real estate agents need to be experts on the local market, including current trends, pricing, and inventory. They use this knowledge to:
- Perform Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) to estimate property values.
- Price and list properties for sellers to attract qualified buyers.
- Find properties that meet the criteria of buyers.
- Transaction Management: Real estate agents handle the heavy lifting involved in the buying and selling process, including:
- Marketing and Advertising: This includes creating listings, holding open houses, and promoting properties through various channels.
- Negotiating offers and contracts: They mediate communication between buyers and sellers to reach a mutually agreeable price and terms.
- Coordinating paperwork: This involves drafting contracts, handling disclosures, and ensuring all the necessary paperwork is completed for closing.
- Guiding clients through the closing process: They ensure a smooth transaction and answer any questions their clients may have.
In addition to these core responsibilities, real estate agents may also provide additional services like property staging, referrals to lenders and inspectors, and property management.
Requirements:
· Must be licensed by the California Department of Real Estate.
- If you are not licensed we have options to help you get licensed.
· At least 1 year of experience with Fair Housing regulations.
· Preferred: 1 year of real estate sales experience or 2 years of other sales or customer service experience.
Location:
Hybrid remote work is available, with an office in Whittier, CA. Candidates must be able to reliably commute for office meetings.
