Job Overview:
Senior Research Associate within our Bioanalysis team is a pivotal role which requires a dynamic professional with strong experience in bioanalytical quantitative analysis with expertise in small molecule assay development using LC-MS/MS. You'll have the opportunity to serve as the Principal Investigator responsible for bioanalytical aspects for preclinical studies in San Diego.
Additional tasks:

Provide bioanalytical quantitative analysis of test compounds in biological matrices obtained from a variety of studies including preclinical safety evaluations and pharmacokinetic evaluations.

Use laboratory equipment including HPLC-MS/MS, HPLC, and routine equipment used for sample preparation.

Preparation and extraction of samples from biological matrices and formulated drug materials.

Assist in the generation and review of study protocols and reports.

Interface with different teams including in vivo scientists, QC/QA, Account Managers/Sales
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking individuals who have strong communication skills with attention to detail who thrive in fast-paced environments.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry or pharmaceutical science with a minimum 2-5 years relevant industry bioanalytical experience focused in LC-MS/MS and other analytical techniques in a pharmaceutical field.

Expert in small molecule assay development using LC-MS/MS or HPLC/UPLC.

Experienced in sample prep, chromatographic separation technique, and optimization of tandem mass spec conditions is required.

Strong hands-on sample prep skills in LLE, PP, and SPE and knowledge of day-to-day operations with LC-MS/MS is essential.

Knowledge of Analyst, Masslynx, and Microsoft Office software platforms.
