1. Understand and comply with all OSHA, safety and PPE requirements;
- Perform daily cycle counts of parts and ensure accuracy of the plant cycle counts program.
- Inventory reporting and monitoring in SAP.
- Reconciling inventory discrepancies and identifying possible root causes of all discrepancies that may occur with cycle counting.
- Follow up with corrective actions regarding discrepancies in the cycle counts.
- Perform quantity and labeling audits of incoming material, material in process and finish goods.
- Keeps track and maintains records on incoming and outgoing parts, Inputs information into computer when required.
- Directs movement of materials to appropriate areas: shipping platform, receiving, storage when necessary.
- Daily 5S and work area organization
10. Support team functions by:
a. Kaizen submittal and implementation
b. Cross-training with others
c. Backfills other materials positions as needed
d. Problem solving
e. Supports materials metrics and meets materials needs
11. Other duties as assigned.
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. 2-5 years’ experience driving a forklift or powered industrial truck preferred
3. Understanding of computer application relating to inventory control: SAP
4. Experience with overhead cranes preferred
- Follow standardized work instructions
