Sales Associate
Karavel Shoes was founded in 1937 on a basic idea: offer each customer the best possible service, quality, and value. We’re looking for an exceptional salesperson to provide outstanding customer service, and develop strong customer relationships while building their individual sales.

Responsibilities
-Set and achieve goals while supporting the goals of the team.
-Assist in daily maintenance including stocking shelves, re-merchandising, cleaning, receiving, and properly displaying merchandise.
-Provide prompt courteous service to all customers.
-Provide an exceptional shoe fitting experience that includes measuring the customer’s feet, and suggesting different looks.
-Provide honest feedback to customers regarding style and fit.
-Build relationships with customers by maintaining a complete and accurate “customer book” and expressing appreciation to customers by sending them personalized thank-you notes when appropriate.
-Helping achieve the company goal of the customer being our first priority.
Qualifications
-Ability to set and achieve sales goals.
-Competitive drive to succeed in a commission-based environment.
-Ability to work closely with diverse groups of people, including Karavel Shoes employees at all levels, customers, suppliers, and other outside professionals with whom Karavel Shoes deals on a regular basis.
-High level of accountability, initiative, and ownership.
-Ability to learn new procedures and processes quickly.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-Knowledge of the retail shoe business.
Required: High school diploma
Preferred: Associates degree
Experience
At least one year experience selling shoes, footwear, and related products is preferred or experience in a sales-driven, commission based full-service retail environment will be highly considered as well.
