OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

For over 85 years, Culligan Water has provided industry leading water filtration products to residential and commercial establishments, such as; restaurants, homes, office buildings, manufacturing facilities, medical/dental centers, hospitality, warehousing and any general business. Our water filtration systems transform municipal water into high quality filtered water thru our extensive line-up of Culligan water treatment and filtration products!
These “high end” systems remove impurities and are an alternative to single use plastic bottles of water, antiquated water fountains, 5-gallon bottle water coolers and cheap filter machines.
Basic Role and Responsibilities:
- Prospect for potential customers through various means, including but not limited to “cold calling” and “door-to-door” methodologies with the purpose of generating new business and the understanding that these activities comprise approximately 50% of this role.
- Proactively generate appointments with both existing and potential customers who are reasonably expected to have an interest in the Culligan’s product lines and qualify for Culligan Payment Plans.
- Follow all guidelines to complete sales and rental contracts correctly and thoroughly, then submit them via the proper channels as determined by the Sales Manager.
- Identify specific customer needs and evaluate all revenue generating opportunities.
- Create and present proposals in the format appropriate for each customer to educate and recommend solutions according to Culligan’s product and service line.
- Analyze customers’ water composition and deliver sales presentations.
- Attend trade shows, industry meetings, and other promotional or educational events as deemed beneficial or necessary by the Company.
- Meet or exceed minimum requirements as defined by the Company for sales volume expectations, sales-generating activities, units rented/sold, and any other defined minimum requirements.
- Complete any other responsibilities as assigned.
