Regional Administrator
Salary: $150,000+, commensurate with experience
We are searching for a full time Regional Administrator to consult for our facilities located in Georgia. The Regional Administrator candidate should have at least three to five years prior experience as an Administrator in a long-term care environment.
Position Summary:
The Regional Administrator consults with facilities in regards to (but not limited to): resident care, State & Federal surveys, regulatory compliance and operational services. They are responsible for driving outcomes, developing and implementing policies/procedures and ensuring compliance with State/Federal regulations & standards of care. The Regional Administrator may be temporarily assigned to function as Interim Administrator in a local facility on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities:
· Assess & evaluate operational services in assigned facilities to identify areas for improvement.
· Identify development opportunities & inform local facility leadership about operational best practices.
· Complete and submit visit reports & audit results as needed
· Acts as a regional mentor & coach Administrators for success at local facilities.
· Source and hire candidates for open Administrator positions.
· Schedule facility/regional visits based on facility issues and compliance needs.
· Schedule regional training/professional development meetings for Administrators no less than quarterly.
· Establish quarterly/annual performance improvement goals together with local & regional staff.
· Promotes core values/ethics, policies/procedures & standards of practice
· Ensure compliance with policies/procedures, State/Federal regulations and current standards of practice.
· Provide assistance & support throughout the survey process including: preparation for survey, writing a plan of correction & developing an action plan, and monitoring for compliance.
· Other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
· 3-5 years experience as a Skilled Nursing Facility Regional Administrator or Director of Operations
· Candidate must possess a valid LNHA license.
· Supervisory experience in healthcare settings.
· Exceptional interpersonal & leadership skills.
· Excellent knowledge of State & Federal guidelines.
· Extensive travel required.
· Clear Motor Vehicle Record
