We are currently seeking the right candidate to fill the role of Construction Project Manager. This person will have direct work experience as a construction project manager for commercial general contractor in the retail, restaurant, or hospitality industry. The Construction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of a construction project/projects from the beginning to the end, work closely with the client to ensure expectations are met. Responsible for making sure the project is completed on budget and on time.
Education:
- 3+ years’ work experience as a Construction Project Manager
- 5+ years of Retail Construction- preferred
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Planning and implementation of projects
- Work with local authorities for inspections and permits
- Define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements
- Selecting general contractors and delegating work
- Manage project budget
- Track project deliverables using web-based tools
- Site visits, store walks and punch walks
- Provide direction and support to project team
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of all projects to client
- Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve completion
