Cook Childcare Center
Hours: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM Monday-Friday
Qualifications:
- Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency.
- Ability to relate positively to young children is essential.
- Previous experience in quantity food preparation is preferred.
- Responsibilities:
- Prepare food for 200 children/staff.
- Create the weekly menu.
- Management of multiple allergies.
- Follows portion control standards for lunch and snacks in preparations.
- Is adaptable and implements changes in menus, if instructed to do so.
- Demonstrates the ability to meet schedules, i.e., sees that each meal is ready to be served when scheduled.
- Ordering food and is able to calculate the amount needed.
- Maintains an orderly, clean and safe kitchen area at all times, including the proper maintenance of equipment.
- Delivers and clears dishes and all food to classrooms.
- Meets basic requirements of all applicable regulatory agencies, including age requirements.
- Maintains the Primrose Schools professional attitude and work behavior.
- Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions as determined by the Director.
- Observes all rules and regulations of Primrose Schools and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
- Assists in other capacities as determined by the Director.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
- Upon Employment:
- Must meet all Primrose Schools and local, state or national basic health requirements as well as other requirements.
- First aid training, as required.
- Complete all necessary company employment and payroll forms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
