Fulltime Office Manager / HR Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
JOB SUMMARY:
To greet visitors, receive and direct phone calls, and perform various clerical and administrative support duties for our Toano, VA office.
JOB DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Assist the HR Department / HR Manager by providing administrative support.
- Perform background screenings on new employees.
- Maintain business license transactions with various state agencies.
- Answer phone in courteous, professional manner at all times. Transfer calls properly and efficiently. Greet and assist all visitors in a professional manner.
- Miscellaneous typing and data entry using PC software programs.
- Handle general office supply requests and maintain appropriate levels of supplies.
- Ensure general office equipment is maintained regularly and operational at all times.
- Maintain copier and supply room and work area clean, neat and organized.
- Maintain office kitchen and conference rooms are, clean and operational at all times.
- Sort and distribute daily mail.
- Ensure office kitchen appliances are clean and in working order at all times.
- Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or the equivalent, but college degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Experience in general office environment.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Must be able to respond and perform professionally and efficiently in a fast-paced.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities/job responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
