Position Summary:
Damien Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Clinic Team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, triage support, patient education, and collaborate with providers to develop care plans in an outpatient setting. You'll monitor patient progress, maintain accurate records, assist with referrals, perform clinical tasks, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation adhering to best practices
- Conduct patient education on health maintenance, prevention, and treatment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical team on care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress, maintaining up-to-date medical records
- Assist with referrals, follow-ups, and continuity of care
- Perform clinical duties - vital signs, wound care, specimen collection, diagnostic tests
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies and maintain safe environment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and developing clinical protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Provide clinical guidance to medical assistants
- Actively contribute to a supportive team culture
Qualifications:
- BSN or ADN from accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in Indiana
- Minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience, preferably in outpatient setting
- Experience with diverse populations and HIV/STI clinical knowledge preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Excellent clinical, critical thinking, communication and time management skills
- Proficient with EHR systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities

Salary & Benefits:
- FLSA Status: Hourly, Full-time, Non-Exempt
- Salary: $35.64-$36.69
- 150 hours of PTO in the first year followed by 195 hours per year moving forward.
