Assistant Project Manager with Construction management
Must have 1-3 years of construction experience or a degree in construction management with a co-op or internship experience

Purpose of Position:
It is the responsibility of the Assistant Project Manager (APM) to obtain, evaluate, coordinate and distribute the information and authorizations needed to construct the project within the established goals for quality, timeliness, budget, profitability, safety and customer satisfaction. The APM shall work with the Project Administrator (PA) to coordinate PA tasks and may delegate tasks to the PA if deemed acceptable by the PM.
APM responsibilities will vary by project and by individual APM’s level of experience and ability. These responsibilities are determined by the PM/SPM, and include but are not limited to the following:
Pre-Construction Duties:
Pre-construction tasks include following project manager's directions, understanding all contract documents, and reviewing project estimates. Assist in purchasing, contract finalization, and preparing the Construction Plan. Distribute documents, set up office plans, organize submittals, and project files. Update manpower charts weekly, prepare budgets, build relationships with stakeholders, and address deficiencies.
Construction Duties:
During construction, update documents, monitor budgets weekly, and review labor costs and schedules. Conduct quality control inspections, attend weekly meetings, manage change orders, and track submittals. Prepare project review documentation, advise on safety, and prepare invoices. Document delays and changes, and anticipate project needs.
Project Closeout:
Closeout tasks include compiling final pay applications, coordinating punch list issues, scheduling equipment start-up, and distributing O&M manuals. Oversee as-built documentation, prepare warranty documentation, and attend post-construction meetings.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
