Position Purpose:
Responsible for interaction with families to successfully and positively register students into the District and for the collection and reporting of all official student registration records using the district’s electronic student information system.
Specific duties:
- Communicating with registering families, coordinating registration procedures, managing and maintaining the accuracy of student information including generating reports and developing practices and procedures for ensuring accuracy and integrity of student data.
- Monitors and makes necessary adjustments of cross-system data transfers, assists families with appointments needed with district programs Special Education and ELA] and assists District staff with state and federal reporting
- Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele serving as first point of contact for parents/guardians and families seeking assistance with the registration and enrollment of students in the Littleton Public Schools.
Essential Duties:
- Interacts positively with families to register students into the District. Serves as first point of contact for district staff and the public seeking assistance with student registration information.
- Assist with updating and maintaining student information in the Colorado Department of Education student database.
- Creates and maintains a customer service and public relations orientation with all clientele in and out of the district.
- Coordinates the registration process, prepares all materials for pre-registration and registration, collects data and enters data into the student information system as prescribed.
- Maintains forms and procedures for the registration of families into the district.
- Provides information to district program staff as needed to ensure appropriate placement of students into programs.
- Assists District staff with state and federal reporting and data transfer requirements, including October count and year-end report.
This is a 253 day calendar position.
Grade 7: Starting salary $23.75
