SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
We’re looking to find skilled videographers/video creators like you to work with the Rob Jensen Company. You’ll be creating strategic content for *every* social platform (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.). You must be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite and have experience using best practices for video creation on different platforms. You must be comfortable handling multiple projects at a time under strict deadlines. You love being creative, adapting to in-house feedback, and ideating new ways to make content valuable to target audiences.
Qualifications:
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to operate full-frame DSLRs and cinema cameras using manual settings
- Experience creating daily video content for social platforms, as well as filming and strategizing creative in fast-paced environments
- Strong executional understanding in how to make impactful micro content for specific audiences and platforms
- Proficient at repurposing video content for various social platforms (sequence settings, key framing, captioning, graphics)
- Experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Media Encoder (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Ideal candidate has a very strong work ethic, positive attitude, and can adapt to change quickly
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with Video Content Editor effectively
- Excels with directorial skills, especially at assisting all types of people to be comfortable and confident on camera
- Ability to work well independently and efficiently
- Adept at operating and monitoring audio recording equipment
- Ability to lift film gear and equipment as needed
- Strong communication skills, comfortable asking for feedback and or trying to move projects in different creative directions
Responsibilities:
- Create social video content on a daily basis
- Quickly and effectively identify moments worth creating
- Format social content for a variety of brands, platforms, and publications
- Collaborate with the Video Content Editor to bring projects to completion
- Review and break down scripts in preparation for production
