Job Purpose
The Material Analyst should possess excellent analytical skills along with the ability to combine different data. The ideal candidate should also be able to maintain data that presents inventory-effective solutions for Lume Cannabis Co. Build updated databases and manage inventory information to maximize availability for Lume Cannabis Co.
Essential Functions
Prepare materials for flower, gummies, and extraction and conduct Compliance Testing with 3rd Party Labs.
Assist in communicating compliance information across all departments.
Audit Harvest Batch information for accurate input into Metrc and Grow Sheets
Packaging cultivation products for Testing and Extraction.
Input all test preparation data across all systems used within the company.
Coordinate material flow across all departments: Propagation to Post-Harvest, Trim to Extraction, Packaging until materials have reached storage locations ensuring availability for when retail is ready for their shipments.
Make sure products are on schedule is on deck.
Assist with Quality Control
Assist any departments so production will not fall behind.
Verify the quality and weights of all incoming Outdoor Cultivation or 3rd party flowers/distillate/extraction materials then receive into METRC and SAP
Prepare outbound Manifests for shipments.
Responsible to assist in Cycle Counts and Package Audits
Responsible for Attwell, Grow Cycle Sheets and METRC reconciliations.
Lead and assist in quarterly and yearly Physical Audits
Assist in tracking cultivation inventory variances and working with Management to correct any issues.
Gather materials for wholesale transfers to 3rd party extractors and vendors.
Work with Product Development team on any new products
Support Cultivation in METRC training and use
Work with Supply Chain Team on flower allocation
Work with the Inventory Team and assist with daily operations in SAP (ERP system)
Assist with the identification of and drive for process improvements, including the creation of SOPs, standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards for Cultivation and the Supply Chain Team.
Minimum Qualifications
Computer literacy, MS Suite of applications and Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Strong time management skills
Organizational Skills
Ability to recognize when a problem arises and how to proceed.
Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
Overtime as required by business needs.
Ability to operate lift equipment (Hi-Lo, Joey)
Ability to work on their feet for 6 + hours per day.
Flexibility to the day-to-day changes to accommodate retails needs.
Working Conditions
Working in a secure facility: Lume Cannabis cultivation and processing has strict security measures in place to prevent theft or diversion of cannabis products. This may include cameras, security personnel, and secure entrances and exits.
Work will be performed in a clean and well-ventilated environment: Additionally, a clean environment will be maintained to prevent contamination of the product.
Lume Cannabis has strict safety protocols in place to prevent injury. This includes wearing protective gear such as gloves, masks, and goggles, as well as following proper handling procedures for equipment and chemicals.
It's important to note that cannabis processing can be physically demanding work, and workers may be required to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
