As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring exceptional customer service from check-in to check-out. Your role will involve managing reservations, providing information about the hotel and local area, handling guest inquiries, and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties:
- Greet and register guests upon arrival, assigning rooms efficiently and accurately.
- Manage reservations, including same-day bookings and cancellations.
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room availability and cleanliness.
- Utilize persuasive selling techniques to promote hotel services and amenities.
- Address guest complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
- Process check-ins, check-outs, and monetary transactions accurately.
- Provide guests with information on local attractions, services, and facilities.
- Maintain clear communication with all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of local area attractions and events.
- Ability to handle cash transactions following hotel policies.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Positive attitude with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for luggage assistance.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and emergency protocols.
- Proficiency in using front office equipment and telephone etiquette.
