About the position:
As an HVAC Installer Helper, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to demonstrate technical competency and exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality installations, every time.
By working closely with the lead installer and installation manager, you will complete jobs on time and under budget, helping achieve the company’s financial goals.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist the technician with light repair and installation work.
- Observe and learn all aspects of the trade.
- Wear floor savers while in the client’s home and maintaining a neat work area when performing a repair or scheduled service.
- Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
- Always be courteous, respectful, and pleasant to the customer.
- Be accurate and timely with all paperwork.
- Obey the company Code of Ethics and the Team Rules.
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.
- Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving.
- Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Great communication skills to establish customer rapport and encourage repeat business
- Goal-oriented
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the organization
- Clean driving history and valid Driver’s License
- Clean criminal background history and pre-employment drug screen
- Energetic, positive, and self-motivated
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in the elements/weather
- Lifting, transporting, and adjusting heavy objects and equipment 75 – 100 pounds
- Bend, twist, climb, squat, reach; work in confined spaces; climb ladders.
- Ability to stand up and sit down for extended periods of time.
- Observe and comply with all relevant health & safety regulations and associated policy and procedures
License/Certification:
- EPA Type II (Preferred)
- Driver's License (Required)
Compensation:
- Starting at $14.00 per hour plus Flat rate
