Job Title: Sales Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategies to expand customer base, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a strong background in selling food, pharmaceutical ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals
- Manage and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM tools to track sales activities and performance
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective sales campaigns
- Provide exceptional customer service to maintain client satisfaction
Skills:
- Proven experience in selling food, pharmaceutical ingredients.
- Strong ability to manage and lead a sales team effectively
- Proficient in account management and customer service practices
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software
- Solid understanding of sales techniques and strategies
Qualification :
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales roles, preferably in the food, pharmaceutical ingredients. Familiarity with the sales process, customer relationship management, and negotiation techniques.
- Industry Knowledge: understanding of the food & pharmaceutical sectors, including market dynamics, customer needs, industry regulations, and competitive landscape.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, market research, and sales forecasting. Ability to identify trends, interpret data, and make data-driven decisions.
- Customer Focus: Customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand customer needs, build long-term relationships, and provide effective solutions.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Willingness to travel to meet clients, attend trade shows, and industry events.
