SUMMARY:Provides customers with courteous service in person or over the phone; strives to retain present customers and develop new business by extending professional and efficient service and accurately enters data into computer.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides timely resolution of customer complaints, concerns, and inquiries.
- Builds effective relationships and trust with customers and potential customers by listening to their needs and educating them about the products and services that are most appropriate to their situation.
- Processes customer orders; organizes received data and source documents; identifies data to be entered.
- Interfaces with appropriate staff to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data..
- Proofs data entered against source documents; makes necessary corrections.
- Follows established guidelines or staff requirements to appropriately handle source documents; files, distributes, or returns source documents after data has been entered.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
