Job Description
IT Project Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in a companys IT department. This includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. Some of an IT Project Managers day-to-day duties include:

Drive projects from inception to delivery managing budget, timelines, and quality goals. Identify, analyze, mitigate and proactively respond to project, financial, and operational risks.

Execute the delivery process so that the distributed resources can work as an effective, objective-driven, and collaborative global team.

Provide leadership and help foster a work culture that recognizes, and supports individual differences in work styles, personalities, cultures, and values to maximize team performance and effectively achieve team goals.

Putting in place a continuous improvement program with a focus on identifying and implementing best practices, measuring performance and drive improvements.

Leverage the existing tools or put in place new ones to ensure effective execution of projects.

Demonstrated ability in managing a global delivery model.

Demonstrated ability to define, manage and measure Global IT delivery processes

Strong leader with proven ability to manage resources, both FTE and Vendor; develop a high-performing team of IT Professionals.

Strong analytical and problem resolution skills; able to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
The general responsibilities of a Project Manager include:

Analyzing, planning, and developing scheduled projects.
-
Establishing and implementing training processes for all technical personnel.
-
Determining and defining clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for all staff members.
-
Holding regular technical team meetings to help address any questions or challenges regarding upcoming projects.
-
Researching and evaluating hardware and software technology options for each project when requested by the client.
-
Recruiting and training future employees to fill posted positions within our FieldFlex program.

Evaluate complex situations using diverse sources of information.
-
Lead, monitor, and motivate different teams across the company and interact with staff at all levels in the organization.
-
Create and manage methods of management, communication plans, and processes.
-
Define the scope of the project, roles, and responsibilities along with various stakeholders.

Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals
-
Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and status reports
-
Managing resources for projects, such as computer equipment and employees
-
Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities

Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget

Using project management tools to track project performance and schedule adherence

Conducting risk assessments for projects

Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
Requirements:

Must have experience managing cabling installs
Education and/or Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4-7 years of related industry experience.
- 5-10 years of management experience.
- Experience working with global organizations.
