The agency is currently seeking Full time licensed Speech Language Pathologist to be part of our network of professionals.
Definition of Service:
ABA clinic that is opening the doors to provide speech language services to children with a variety of speech and language disorders and other autism-related speech and social communication disorders. This service is designed to meet the specific needs of the identified client as they relate to their diagnosis and can be provided in-office.
Skills and Abilities/Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver in-office services to clients with goal-specific interventions.
- Possess a skilled knowledge of speech and language disorders.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to the identified client in order to enhance and foster the client’s optimal functioning and interactions in the home and community.
- Continually assess client needs, service availability and appropriateness.
- Work cooperatively with treatment team members and the family in the provision of services to meet the goals developed in the treatment plan. Communicate findings to patients and families.
- Document direct service delivery and submit said documentation according to the agency guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse population of staff, faculty, community members, and clients.
- Ability to effectively utilize computer and electronic medical record.
- Treat a variety of speech and language disorders including articulation, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
- Administer diagnostic tests and interpret results to establish a plan of care for treatment.
Qualifications:
- Must hold Current Licensure as SLP in the state of Georgia.
- Masters Degree in Communication Science, Communicative Disorders, or Speech Language Pathology
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
- One year of electronic health record experience
Required experience:
- Completed CAQH by date of hire.
- Valid NPI number by date of hire.
- No grievances filed with any state licensing governance board, Medicaid, or Medicare.
