Overview:
The National Sales Business Analyst is responsible for managing the bid process by collecting the necessary data, organizing and compiling it into a final bid submission. This position will work closely with the VP of National Sales.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
Analyze and review finalized Bids.- Organize data, report building updates, and manage all SharePoint files.
- Address all requests and communicate effectively with the sales team and National builders’ team.
- Maintain up to date pricing models.
- Train sales team members on customer software and vendor portals.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not require supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
This position is in a busy office area and is faced with constant interruptions on a regular basis.
Physical Demands
This position requires frequent sitting, use of hands, talking and listening. Periodically, this position walks, stands and reaches. Rarely, this position climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work depend on store hours of operations, 45+ hours per week.
Qualifications:
Competencies
Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, verbal, or data driven instructions; deal with issues involving several variables in standardized situations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Adobe and SharePoint.
- Familiar with various external customer/vendor portals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge and understanding of residential building process.
- Familiar with bid processes and creating price models.
