WHAT YOU’LL DO:
· Deliver an elevated and welcoming experience while responding to customers’ needs quickly and accurately
· Achieve email capture and sales goals through creative engagement with customers
· Demonstrate flexibility and perform store tasks with speed and excellence
· Process POS transactions efficiently and comply with all policies and procedures while creating a memorable experience
· Assist sales associates in determining customers’ needs and resolving all client issues.
· Maintain store standards of cleanliness and organization.
· Drive Omni channel sales by utilizing all available tools and technology
As Cashier Lead, you will also do:
- Supervision and Discipline:
- The cashier team leader oversees the activities of cashiers, promoting efficiency, discipline, and productivity.
- They check duty posts regularly to ensure that cashiers are present and performing their tasks effectively.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Providing excellent customer service is a key aspect of the role.
- The team leader trains cashiers in good customer service skills, ensuring they address customers with respect and politeness.
- They give detailed instructions on how to attend to customer inquiries, complaints, and transactions.
- Task Assignment and Scheduling:
- The team leader assigns specific duties to cashiers, ensuring that no customer is left unattended.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Maintaining the company’s cash flow is part of their responsibility.
- They ensure that payment devices (such as POS systems) are functional and well-stocked with different denominations of cash.
- The team leader authorizes returns and refunds when necessary to satisfy customer needs.
- Handling Disputes and Resolving Complaints:
- The team leader maintains orderliness among cashiers.
- They quickly address disputes arising from customer complaints.
- If customers have questions about products, services, prices, or promotions, the team leader provides guidance.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 29 – 40 per week
