Overview:
Do you like helping people in their time of lead? We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technician to join our team. As a Lead Technician, you will be helping people and companies recover from water, fire and mold damage to their home or building. A great candidate will have prior cleaning and pack out experience and be detail oriented. If you have great organizational skills and the ability to follow a clear scope of work to completion, we'd like to meet you! This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean building structures and contents using knowledge obtained through IICRC Certifications and Supervisor direction
- Maintain a high level of detail cleaning and soot removal knowledge
- Ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are processed before the start of each job
- Explain processes and scope needed to complete job in person to customer with or without supervisor
- Complete assigned jobs according to Company processes while maintaining quality control on each job
- Ability to maintain quality while leading with a sense of urgency
- Perform fire/smoke damage cleaning tasks to include inventory and completion of pack-out of contents, removing/disposing of non salvageable materials, light construction and demolition as directed by Supervisor
- Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles and products are properly handled. Reports any equipment malfunction and/or damage to Supervisor
- Inspect job after completion and obtain Customer signatures for approval purposes
- Resolve issues with customers and communicate customer issues in a timely and professional manner
- Professional documentation of daily job actives and communication with Supervisor and key Company staff
- Prepared documentation and pictures to Company policies and procedures to ensure reimbursement from insurance companies
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Driver License and satisfactory driving record
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem solving skills
- Knowledge of Disaster Restoration Industry
- Ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
- Experience with entering data using and iPad
- Ability to report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform (Company provided)
- Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions
- Xactimate and Contents Track experience preferred
