We are looking for a Civil Engineer to join our company. In this role, you'll collaborate with the engineering team on the preparation of design documents for industrial, private, and public projects. You’ll be responsible for design concepts, detailed designs, technical specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates for projects. The candidate will have at least four (4) years of relevant project work experience working on civil / site development projects.
The ideal candidate will have a PE license (or ability to obtain within 6-months) with 4 – 8 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
Civil Engineer Responsibilities:
· Public and Private Sitework/ Land Development civil engineering design on residential, commercial, and industrial development projects. (CD design includes grading, drainage, detention, utilities) Interface with City, State, and other Municipality officials to obtain required approvals on design plans.
- ·Interface with clients and other engineering disciplines to ensure project coordination.
- Communicate and collaborate with colleagues in the company for plan quality control and overall improvement of company design documents.
- · Assist in project management activities as needed.
- · Civil 3D* experience required.
- · ArcGIS experience preferred, not required.
- H&H modelling software knowledge is required.
- Help resolve design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design works and detailed checking of design computations done by others.
- Candidates must be proactive, have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communications, and be client service oriented.
Civil Engineer Requirements:
- ·Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering.
- Some experience in grading, drainage, utility and other infrastructure design.
- Minimum 2 years of land or site development experience.
Possesses a Professional Engineer license, or ability to obtain within 6-months of hire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
