The Putnam/Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is a non-profit victim service agency. Providing free and confidential services to all victims of domestic and sexual violence in Putnam and northern Westchester County since 1979.
Description of position: The Putnam Northern Westchester Women’s Resource Center provides advocacy, education, and therapeutic services to all victims of violence. The WRC supports victims’ safety and healing through the provision of trauma informed clinical practice. The Director of Clinical Services works as part of a leadership team which also includes the; Shelter Director, Director of Advocacy Services, and Director of Operations.
As Director of Clinical Services this candidate will provide primary supervision and oversight of:
- Delivery of clinical services.
- Recruiting and supervising clinical staff and interns.
- Clinical protocols and policies.
- This candidate will also have the opportunity to:
- Provide individual and group therapy to victims
- Conduct individual assessments.
- Facilitate case conferences/clinical meetings as needed
- Represent agency in the community as part of the leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
The Director of Clinical Services will; carry a small caseload of their own, providing individual clinical services to victims of violence; provide clinical supervision, training and oversight of the clinical staff and work in tandem with the rest of the leadership team; and under the supervision of the Associate Executive Director, ensure that all WRC services protect the rights of the victims, are client driven, confidential, and protect their rights to self-determination.
Qualifications:
NYS Licensed Therapist with supervisory experience.
LCSW or other licensed clinician, eligible to supervise licensee candidate's (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, as well as Masters level interns.
3 years of experience in clinical, supervisory, and/or management experience.
