Junior Account Renewal Representative
Job Description
Summary:
The Account Renewal Representative is accountable for proactively monitoring and extending
maintenance renewal contracts for current customers. The primary responsibility of this
position is to monitor renewal contracts and to actively engage with existing customers to
retain and expand the relationship. The Account Renewal Representative will partner with
sales, and be the primary contact with customers to provide guidance regarding continuing
support and contract renewals.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews customer information; including current renewal rates and delivers renewal
quotes to the customer.
- Collaborates interdepartmentally with sales, support, and finance as needed.
- Collaborates with the sales and leadership teams to develop tactics to attain successful
account renewals and retain customers.
- Proactively identifies contract expirations and manages the renewal process.
- Educates customers on support or contract offerings based on current product or
service needs.
- Participates and suggests process improvements and optimization of existing
procedures.
- Coordinates with the quoting team regarding the preparation of renewal quotes and the
processing of customer requested changes.
- Works closely with the customer success team on any customer feedback regarding
service delivery.
- Continuously and proactively follows up on outstanding renewals in accordance with
company procedures.
- Meets assigned productivity levels and maintains productivity documentation as
required.
- Quickly responds to requests from customers, partners, distributors, and internal sales
teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- A minimum of one year of experience with sales, customer retention, or sales support.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Experience with SalesForce or equivalent CRM.
- Exceptional interpersonal agility, flexibility, and request management skills.
- Able to work with complex information with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and experience in reading, understanding and formulating responses to
pricing quote requests and RFP's.
- Experience with computer hardware OEMs and/or competitor pricing or industry
equivalent renewals management.
