North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA), based in Dallas is responsible for developing a collaborative system of care for children, adolescents and adults with severe mental illness and other serious emotional disturbances, as well as those experiencing a substance use disorder. NTBHA provides trauma-informed, resilience-oriented care with cultural humility.
We are responsible for developing a collaborative system of care for individuals in crisis in the NTBHA service area. We are focused on trauma-informed, resilience-oriented care in all services provided.
Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conducts Job Readiness class to assist clients in obtaining and maintaining full-time, permanent employment.

Maintains client employment documentation and verification as required by sponsoring agencies.

Develops and maintains potential employment opportunities.

Establishes vocational and educational resources in the community; makes referrals as required or needed.

Ensures the timely collection of client fees/wages and maintains appropriate documentation.

Submits accurate program reports in a timely manner.

Attends weekly client staffing meetings.

Conducts on-site employment visitations for clients as required.
Required Skills and Abilities:

Experience in guidance, counseling, or job placement preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with diverse client population.

The ability to show patience and courtesy when working with people is a necessity.

Work will be performed across a variety of locations within the NTBHA network communities; must have your own vehicle, valid Driver’s License, and automobile insurance.

Subject to criminal history background check

Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. with an ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software.

Must be able to work on and have knowledge of a PC (personal computer).
Education, Training and Experience (including licensure and certification):

Bachelor's degree in related field required.
