A local manufacturing company is seeking and experienced Industrial Maintenance Supervisor!
JOB SUMMARY:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team to ensure all installation, repair, upkeep, and troubleshooting of the plant’s machinery and equipment are conducted efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working Team and Safety Leader: Actively manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians by not only delegating and prioritizing tasks but also working alongside them to complete projects and tasks. Train the team in safety procedures and proper equipment use, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and maintaining the physical structures of the plant, while fostering team development through hands-on leadership.
- Equipment Reliability Leader: Oversee troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical and electrical systems within the plant to ensure operational efficiency. Regularly observe equipment to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems.
- Preventative Maintenance Strategist: Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations and regulatory requirements. Ensure all machinery is regularly cleaned, lubricated, and properly maintained.
- Technical Skills Developer: Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Set up and operate machine tools to fabricate, repair, or maintain machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.
- Safety and Compliance Supervisor: Manage and train the maintenance team on safety procedures and proper equipment use. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain physical structures of the plant.
- Administrative and Resource Manager: Evaluate equipment needs and performance, preparing maintenance plans and budgets. Handle administrative duties including hiring, training, performance appraisals, and team management.
OUTCOMES (What success looks like)
- Successful implementation and adherence to a preventative maintenance schedule that reduces emergency repairs by 30%.
- Maintenance team consistently achieves targets with high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
- Zero safety violations and 100% compliance with all workplace safety guidelines.
- Effective management of the maintenance budget, with all expenditures staying within 5% of the planned budget.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven industrial maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, demonstrating a strong ability to manage and optimize plant machinery and equipment.
- Management Experience: Demonstrated leadership with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent problem-solving ability, and knowledge of industrial maintenance protocols and safety regulations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using maintenance management software and familiar with various types of manufacturing equipment.
- Physical Skills: Capable of physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, and perform manual labor.
- Exposure to loud noise levels, machinery, and potentially hazardous materials.
WORK ENVIORNMENT
- The position involves working both in an office setting for planning and management tasks and on the plant floor overseeing and participating in maintenance activities.
- Interaction with various departments to coordinate and schedule maintenance without disrupting production processes.
JOB DETAILS
This role is full–time, normally scheduled Monday through Friday: 7:00am to 3:30pm.
Overtime work may be required based on the needs of the business, including some weekends and off-hours.

Salary Range is 65,000 to 85,000 annually, offer will be based on job experience level
