Responsibilities:
- Greet patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirmation calls.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage correspondence with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain patient records with accuracy, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries with sensitivity and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with dental staff to manage daily schedules and optimize patient flow.
- Provide patients with information on dental procedures and services offered at the clinic.
- Assist in managing inventory and ordering office supplies as needed.
- Perform general office duties, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a clean reception area.
Additional Qualifications/Not Manadatory:
- Knowledge of Dental Assisting is highly regarded and considered a significant plus, providing valuable support to the dental team.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role, preferably in a dental or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with patients and team members.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and experience with dental practice management software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- A patient-oriented approach with outstanding customer service skills.
