The F.L. Wolters Group is a private psychotherapy and wellness practice that provides non-judgmental, evidence-based counseling to adults, children and couples experiencing major life changes, personal and professional relationship difficulties, and persistent mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, ADHD and post-traumatic stress.
We are hiring a full-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide individual psychotherapy to adults, couples and/or children, as well as supervision to LGPCs. Join a small, expanding private practice and grow along with us!

Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a caseload of at least 20-25 therapy clients weekly.
- Plan and conduct regular weekly individual and biweekly group supervision for two (2) to five (5) LGPC clinicians and therapy interns.
- Conduct intake evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of clients’ history, strengths, and therapy needs.
- Develop treatment plans and provide outpatient services to clients.
- Complete clinical documentation, including progress notes, service/treatment plans, and other forms/records as required.
- Maintain a current license in good standing.
- Must provide your own liability insurance.
Qualifications
- Must have an LPC in the District of Columbia by the start date of employment
- Experience with psychotherapy in an outpatient setting (10+ years strongly preferred)
- Experience providing clinical supervision (3+ years strongly preferred)
- Computer skills proficiency
- Commitment to affirming clients’ diverse identities and backgrounds
- Competence in providing supervision using multiple modalities and theories
- Experience navigating multicultural environments
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
