Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for developing and executing the financial management strategy and contributing to the organization's strategic goals.
General Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations for the health systems and its affiliates in the US.
- Direct treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, long-range forecasting, and insurance activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closing processes and HQ reporting.
- Oversee the preparation of the annual report.
- Maintain relationships with external auditors and manage half-year reviews and year-end audits, implementing their findings and recommendations.
- Establish financial checks and balances to ensure compliance and validate financial results.
- Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Report on the organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth periodically.
- Support the preparation of public company financial statements for external stakeholders.
- Manage all financial aspects of contract management and compliance.
- Provide clarity on accounting policies, treatments, and exceptions.
- Maximize return on investments by identifying opportunities and maintaining relationships with banks and the investment community.
- Direct treasury activities, safeguarding the organization's funds, securities, and assets.
- Analyze economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
- Assess operational issues impacting the institution and determine their financial impact.
- Evaluate and recommend business partnership opportunities.
- Maintain contacts with stockholders, financial institutions, and the investment community.
- Participate in key decisions and serve as a board member for several subsidiaries.
- Manage operational data to ensure quality, timeliness, accuracy, and integrity of financial information, resolving any variances.
- Collaborate with local operations management to track and communicate business results.
- Maintain secure documentation of accounting records and financial statements.
- Develop succession planning for critical accounting roles and backup processes for key positions.
- Design, communicate, and train accounting teams on policies and standards.
- Enhance the capacity of accounting and control teams to improve the close process.
- Ensure organizational consistency in handling both routine and unique accounting items.
Job Qualifications
- Business or Accounting degree required; MBA preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years in a senior management role, with experience in both external audit and in-house financial management in a high-growth organization.
- Proven track record of facilitating organizational change and development in a growing organization.
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written).

Pay: $190,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
