Meat Manager

The Meat Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality, freshness, and presentation of all meat products while providing exceptional customer service. Duties:
- Manage the meat department by overseeing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper stock levels
- Supervise and train staff on meat cutting techniques, food handling procedures, and food safety protocols
- Ensure all meat products are prepared, packaged, and displayed according to company standards
- Collaborate with vendors to source high-quality meats and negotiate pricing
- Monitor sales trends and adjust pricing strategies to maximize profitability
- Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the meat department
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
Skills:
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in a meat-related role
- Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and culinary skills
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food production processes and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in a restaurant or retail setting is advantageous
