Under the general supervision of the Firm Managing Partner and Executive Director, the Director of Human Resources plays a critical role in supporting the vision, culture and growth of Laughlin Falbo. This position is responsible for developing, managing and coordinating the full range of HR activities, including professional lines of insurance, recruitment, health/welfare benefits, compensation, handle regulatory compliance, employee/labor relations, performance management, assistance with the payroll processing, training/development and HRIS. The successful candidate will work with the leadership team to assess and understand current organizational needs, and develop/implement plans to support growth and retention.
As a sole practitioner, the ideal candidate will be a strategist, but also a “hands-on” problem solver who gets things done. This requires confidence in operating at a high level, but equally inclined to dig into and manage the day-to-day details. This position will be based in our Concord (East Bay) office but will also require periodic travel to our 11 offices throughout California.

Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
