Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
Duties:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
- Assist in case management and discharge planning
- Utilize coding systems for accurate documentation and billing purposes
- Provide acute pain management interventions
- Perform ostomy care as needed
- Conduct pediatric assessments and provide age-appropriate care
- Demonstrate proficiency in dialysis procedures
- Implement hospice palliative medicine techniques when necessary
- Utilize proper lift techniques to ensure patient safety
- Contribute to occupational health initiatives within the organization
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
- Experience in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, or long-term care facilities is desirable
Skills:
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in acute care settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
