This is a part time position working 30 hours per week, 9-3pm Monday to Friday, based each day in our beautiful Boston, MA office located in the North End office.
The role
As an Office and Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the office through keeping all communal areas and kitchens clean and tidy, well-stocked through managing orders, as well as flexing to support the Administration function when required.
You will need to be flexible and have the ability to put your hand to a variety of office related tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain regular high-touch point cleaning standards focusing on door handles, counter tops, faucets (kitchen and bathroom), meeting tables, coffee machines etc.

Clean fridges, toasters, and microwaves once a week, and other appliances as required
- Ensure that the office is tidy, including the reception areas, kitchens, bathrooms, meeting rooms, and communal spaces
- Load, run, & unload dishwashers

Ensure crockery and cutlery are appropriately distributed throughout kitchens

Manage milk, coffee, fruit, tuck shop, and cleaning supplies stock, including placing orders and handling deliveries

Ensure kitchens are well stocked with food and cleaning supplies
- Complete any administration and accounting relating to the food and cleaning provisions
- Ensure the bathrooms are well stocked with hand soap and other products
- Understand the company’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) guidelines and work within the framework to improve sustainability in the office
- Support recycling and composting initiatives in the office

Escalate any hazards or issues to the Office Manager

Assist the Boston Office Manager with the preparation of events and with ad hoc tasks
- During busy periods and when an Admin team member is out, flexing to support the Dispatch function through assembling and packaging final documents for Audey Clients
About you
You will have a high level of attention to detail, organised and a flexible and adaptable approach to your workload. You will be self-motivated and able to work independently.
Please note that this role will require some physical moving and lifting of items.
Location
In person days will be hosted in our beautiful Boston, MA office located in the North End! This role is required to be office-based for 5 days a week.
