Job Description: As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures. Your role is crucial in helping physicians diagnose and treat patients with cardiac conditions. You will work closely with our cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality echocardiograms, including transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echocardiograms, and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).
- Operate ultrasound equipment and maintain accurate patient records.
- Interpret and analyze ultrasound results, providing preliminary findings to the interpreting physician.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.
- Maintain and clean ultrasound equipment according to protocol.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiac sonography techniques and technology.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
- Minimum of [2] years of experience in performing cardiac ultrasound procedures.
- Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and related software.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
