COMPANY OVERVIEW:
Civil Site Group, PC is seeking a self-starter, team-oriented individual that wants to advance their survey career with a highly skilled and noteworthy company. A qualified candidate for this position will be able to develop their career with diverse survey experience on boundary, topographic, ALTA, platting and construction staking projects. Civil Site Group has a startup culture with tremendous opportunities for upward mobility. The person who fills this role should have a desire for career advancement, as they will have the opportunity to work towards becoming a senior survey technician or project manager.
Essential Job Functions
- Research and obtaining project documents including: gopher state one calls, half section maps, section corner ties, plats, control points, benchmarks, city as-built plans, zoning information, FEMA maps, aerial photos, computer comps (search points and DXF files), create field folder files for new projects
- Assisting registered surveyors with CAD productions, deed research, boundary analysis, easement preparations, legal descriptions, and computing survey points
- Processing of raw field data
- Draft various survey deliverables
- Complete QA/QC relines checks
- Coordinate and work with field crews and other office staff
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· 2+ years of successful job related professional experience in the surveying industry or a bachelor’s degree with 32 credits in land surveying.
· Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
· Ability to work independently and balance the workload to accommodate demands of the job to exceed client expectations.
· Have a positive attitude
