Service Coordinator
Job description
ABOUT THE POSITION: Full time & Offers Working from home. 90-day training period! We are a fast-growing company and are looking for hard-working, dedicated individuals that want a career, not just a job.
Aside from coordinating work orders, you will also be collecting documents from contractors, performing data entry, negotiating rates, assisting with billing, and many other responsibilities. We do rotate ON CALL shifts and these are opportunities for you to make additional money. All employees are required to be ON CALL at least one weekend per month and at least one night a week after training.
Shift will be from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM AMST.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
STRONG COMPUTER/ TYPING SKILLS: Word, Excel, Adobe comfortable with shortcuts like Snip-It. You will be updating our database and Client Work Order System, so familiarity with programs like Corrigo and Quickbase is a huge plus; you must be able to type 55-60 WPM accurately.
Daily Tasks
- Create and dispatch work orders
- Track tech progress, receive, process, and submit repair quotes to the client
- Maintain accurate detailed notes in the database and all ticketing systems
- Negotiate sub-pricing and payment terms
- assist with invoicing
- Communicate with all levels (clients, technicians, coworkers, management)
Required Skills
- MAINTENANCE &/OR CONSTRUCTION COORDINATION EXPERIENCE: Preferred
- Customer Service
- Strong Phone Skills
- Typing Skills
- Basic Microsoft knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook)
- (Call center experience encouraged to apply)
- (Mortgage underwriting experience encouraged to apply)
STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS: in writing, in person, and especially on the phone are an absolute must as we are national.
STRONG WORK HISTORY: WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR SHORT TERM.
All the work we do is time-sensitive, therefore the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and work well with set timelines is a must.
POSITIVE ATTITUDE & MOTIVATION: Because you will be working from home most of the time, we are looking for someone who will work efficiently and be able to assist co-workers, learn more, and grow within the company.
EQUIPMENT: MUST HAVE PC OR LAPTOP, CELL PHONE OR LANDLINE WITH UNLIMITED LONG DISTANCE, and a private workspace at home, away from distractions. Background noise must be kept to a minimum. High speed internet connection along with an anti-virus.
