Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update medical information accurately
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area and treatment rooms
Skills:
- Proficiency in front desk operations in a medical office setting
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience with phone systems and handling patient inquiries effectively
- Ability to manage medical records accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with scheduling software for medical appointments (e.g., Dentrix)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
