The Inventory Control Coordinator/Cycle Counter or designate is to monitor and ensure the accuracy of all movements in the Controlled Warehouse, WIP storage and Component Racks and Finished Goods at Plasman Lawrenceburg.
The Inventory Control Coordinator/Cycle Counter reports directly to the Materials Supervisor.
- RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
The responsibilities and authorities for this position include, but are certainly not limited to:

Responsible for all manual inventory cycle counts.

Participate in month end inventory processing.

Assist in root cause analysis and discrepancies found
-
Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Completion of any other duties as assigned.
HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Inventory Control Coordinator/Cycle Counter is responsible for complying with the Company Health & Safety Program including the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Industrial regulations, WHMIS regulations and Company Health & Safety policies. Reference: JDA-003 Worker / Supplied Labour Health & Safety Responsibilities (Addendum to Hourly Job Descriptions).
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the following minimum qualifications:

Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal

Have the ability to train others and be trained for the above mentioned responsibilities

Must be computer literate

Must have good mathematical skills
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the following minimum work experience qualifications:

Acceptable performance record and attendance record required
- Working knowledge of Plasman LAW products
MINIMUM TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the following minimum training:
- WHMIS/MSDS

Forklift Training
-
4 Hour Health & Safety Training

Plasman Quality / Environmental Policy awareness

New Employee Orientation (when required)

Must be capable of performing the essential duties which include maximum safe lifts to the 75th percentile of the employee as determined by acceptable standards.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
