Requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain an inventory control method
-
Maintain parts inventory for Distribution/Collections Department
-
Keep record of all supplies that are distributed
-
Maintain current and accurate price information in the system and constantly check for updated pricing by private vendors
-
Complete inventory orders for the warehouse through processing requisition and related documents
-
Create internal control while serving the needs of the utility
-
Ensure accurate financial reporting related to the inventory procurement and cost activities
-
Confer with department supervisors concerning their related activities
-
Communicate and correspond with private vendors as necessary
-
Receive incoming shipments and distribute appropriately
-
Deliver parts, equipment and tools to jobsites as needed
-
Offload deliveries and place on shelves
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to effectively communicate

Experience with electronic inventory products/software/databases

Ability to devise plans of action and assess those plans regularly

Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively

Ability to organize work to meet multiple deadlines

Maintain and establish effective working relationships

Ability to operate a computer and related computer software programs
-
Ability to work with minimal supervision
-
Ability to regularly attend work and arrive punctually for designated work schedule

Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety procedures
-
Ability to operate a forklift
-
Safeguard all assigned tools, equipment, electronics, etc.
-
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Requirements:
-
High School Diploma or equivalency
-
One (1) year experience of working in a warehouse
-
Valid Florida Driver’s License
-
Forklift Operator Certification
