Small office conveniently located in the Deerwood/Southside area seeks experienced full-time administrative assistant. The ideal candidate is highly organized with at least 5 years of office admin experience.
Background in legal is a plus (although we are not a law office).
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent grammar and typing skills. As a small office, the atmosphere is a bit laid-back and can be quite jovial and relaxed at times, but stay very busy year-round. We are looking for someone who would like to build a career within a strong and stable 25-year-old company.

Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the owner to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages when necessary
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system for important documents
- Maintain contact lists and manage calendars for scheduling appointments
- Book travel arrangements and coordinate meetings and events
- Perform data entry, update databases or records with new information, and maintain excellent records management for company contacts
- Support project coordination by organizing meetings, taking minutes, and following up on action items
- Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Maintain regular communication with other professionals, including legal assistants, attorneys, etc.
Skills:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
