Job Overview:
The Retail Customer Experience Lead has a strong emphasis on customer service and the customers in-store experience along with product knowledge and associate management. Implements and follows the store business plans and ensures People are trained and executing customer-focused procedures through collaboration with the Store Manager and store team. Provides guidance to group of Fragrance Specialists in presenting an excellent customer experience to maximize sales. This position requires a high level of comfort in building rapport through customer interactions. The Retail Customer Experience Lead may be required to conduct opening and closing functions as business schedules require.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Demonstrate selling, incentive and product knowledge strategies
- Cover sales floor at all times
- Open/close the store, when needed
- Maintain awareness of all sale promotions
- Replenish sales floor as needed
- Execute store maintenance checklist (neat, clean and tidy) including service desk.
- Effectively adjust to different customer personalities
- Able to operate computerized register system & use common tools
- Consistently help to achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales plan
- Strengthen and develop relationship with existing customers
- Invest in people: communicate professionally and effectively with team members and assist with in-store training
- Establish and maintain customer focus with existing service standards and customer loyalty incentives
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Previous retail experience or relevant customer service experience training
- Proven track record in achieving sales results
- Willingness to work non- traditional business hours including nights, weekends & holidays
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and problem solving abilities
- Great team-building, project managements and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Will be able to work with a diverse client base
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Preferred proficiency in Point of Sales (POS ) systems & Microsoft Outlook/email
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience, retail/specialty apparel knowledge and experience preferred.
