General Summary of Duties:
Food Runners will assist Servers with expo and food running to guest tables while providing warm and energetic service.
Examples of Duties (includes but is not limited to the following):

Knowledge of all menu items, restaurant, and general hotel information

Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely, warm, and energetic manner

Ensure service area is clean and organized
-
Maintain tables and buffet during guest dining and ensure swift reset upon guest departure

Deliver food to guest tables
-
Read kitchen tickets and match them to dishes completed by the kitchen staff

Assist with set-up and break down of breakfast buffet
-
Perform side work during downtime; such as rolling silverware, restocking condiments, and sweeping floor
-
Ensure general cleanliness of work area in accordance with all health and safety standards

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge of upscale food and beverage
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required
